We don't ask you to trust reclaimed granite on faith. Every slab ships with a written guarantee covering three things that actually matter.
Every slab is tested to ≥19,000 PSI compressive strength before it leaves our yard — the same standard as virgin quarried granite.
We photograph and catalog every slab. If your stone doesn't match the agreed grain and tone, we replace it at no charge before installation.
5-year replacement guarantee on any slab that fails under normal use. We stand behind stone that has already proven itself for half a century.
We test every incoming slab to ASTM C170 compressive strength standards. Our current stockpile averages 19,400 PSI — above the industry threshold for exterior paving and structural countertop applications. The numbers are in the spec sheet, not just our word.
Our reclaimed slabs undergo ASTM C97 freeze-thaw cycling — 50 cycles between −20°F and 70°F — before certification. Stone that survived decades of outdoor installation already carries a natural track record. The lab data confirms what the history suggests.
Every slab is photographed in natural overcast light before and after cutting. We maintain a digital catalog with grain maps, dominant mineral percentages, and undertone classification. Period restoration clients can match existing stone with documented confidence — we've matched 94% of restoration briefs from our current stockpile alone.
We source exclusively from permitted demolition projects — kitchen renovations, commercial refits, and decommissioned monuments. Each incoming lot is logged with origin address, estimated installation year, and stone type. You can request the provenance sheet for any slab in our yard. Zero virgin quarry extraction. Zero mystery.
Tell us about your project and we'll match you with slabs from our current stockpile — photographed, measured, and tested. No commitment until you've seen the stone.
14 pages covering compressive strength methodology, thermal cycling test results, available stone types, typical dimensions, and our full color-match process. Written for landscape architects and specification writers.
The Quarry Guarantee
The stone in our yard has already weathered half a century. It will weather fifty more. The only question is where you want it.
